Water Security and Sustainability Lab
Welcome to Water Security and Sustainability Lab (WSSL) in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at University of Maryland. The WSSL started in 2015 under the leadership of Dr. Masoud Negahban-Azar to address emerging interdisciplinary challenges in water management.
What we do?
We explore different aspects of water sustainability framework to improve water security and sustainability. Our research focuses on holistically examining water systems, focusing on the interfaces that exist between natural and built environment that affect water quality and availability.
